More about our unique accommodation
Park in our private woodland car park – and follow the secret, excitingly lit path down to Into the Woods private paddock, edged by ancient hazel and oak woodland.. A cart will be provided to take your luggage. All three accommodations sit well apart from each other and are screened off by foliage, so all can feel a sense of privacy. The open sunny paddock is surrounded by farmland and lovely views.

What we provide
Everything is provided for your stay, including bedlinen, towels, shower gel, shampoos, kitchen basics, tea, coffee, logs, wifi, full electrics, BBQ, games room, paddock area, off road parking, etc, etc – it is all very civilised !
For Nature lovers
You will find yourselves away from it all, at one with nature. There is a wealth of wildlife around you, with red squirrels, rabbits, owls, woodpeckers and many other species of birds; as well as distant mooing, baaing and neighing from surrounding farmland! We’re so sorry , but we don’t take dogs, for many reasons.
Couples
Perfect for romantic stays, in the wonderful peace and quiet, enjoying simple but luxurious living.
Stay in our gorgeous new little Nest Treehouse – cleverly designed just for 2.
Or if you’d like a little bit more space, both the Treehouse and the Hideaway can take either one, or two couples; so you can come on your own or with friends!
Families and Children
Kids can run around the paddock and woods to their hearts content and play on the rustic wooden swings and rings. The Shepherd’s Hideaway is much more suited to young children than the treehouse, and has plenty of space for a cot. It is possible to add a small child bed next to the master bed in the little Nest treehouse, but not recommended for babies or toddlers. Babysitting can also be arranged in the day or evening.
Fun and Games
There are swings and rope ladders and outdoor games to play. There is also a BBQ area down below.
Bikes are available for hire.
Delicious Island Produce
Deliveries of fabulous Island produce, or home cooked takeaway food, plus local supermarket deliveries are all easy to organise , plus local good caterers can also be arranged.
Extra Guests / Larger Groups
Why not book all three accommodations for extra friends or an extended family group ? You will have a wonderfully private paddock and all the accommodation exclusively for yourselves – plus we have a few extra accom options for you, see pics below. Perfect for Family get-togethers and large groups. (NB – large single sex groups at our discretion – do contact us for further info.)
